Announcement
Tour Visitors Policy- If you have cold like symptoms or are not feeling well, please refrain from visiting the Mint.
- It is up to the individual to decide whether to wear a mask. Also, it is an individual decision to wear a mask for the Mint’s staff.
- Visitors are kindly requested to write your “name” and “country” at the reception.
- Visitors are kindly requested to be quiet on the tour passage.
Please do not disturb other participants such as running, making noise and tapping on the window.
※ Japan Mint would like to receive the guidance and cooperation of accompanying person. - Please refrain from using smartphones or mobile phones for talking.
- During the tour, audio and video recording are strictly prohibited.
- Drinking and eating are prohibited on the tour passage. When visitors stay hydrated, they can drink it on the 1st floor at the lobby of the Museum.
- There is a restroom at the Museum, but no restroom at the factory.
- No admission for those who are drunk.
- Pets are not allowed. Japan Mint welcome assistance dogs (Guide Dog, Hearing Dog and Mobility Service Dog) for persons with physical disabilities.
- If you do not follow the instructions, explanations and signs by the staff, the Mint reserves the right to deny access to you.
- If you are late for your booked tour, the tour time will be shortened. If you join the guided tour with other visitors, you will be able to join later.
- Visitors who join the guided tour are requested to bring their reservation sheets. If you forget the reservation sheets, Japan Mint would like to verify you driver’s license or insurance card.
- Elementary school students and younger must be accompanied by a guardian.
- The reserved tour buses are requested to make start-stop system work.

There is no parking space available. Visitors are recommended to use public transportation.
※ Only for visitors having difficulty in walking, Japan Mint provide parking. However, please contact us in advance since the parking lot is limited.
※ Parking lot for bicycles is located in front of the entrance of the Museum.
