International Coin Design Competition 2022 Most Excellent Work Gold Medal

The International Coin Design Competition (ICDC), an annual competition, to which 31 works from 8 countries for "GENERAL category", and 331 works from 2 countries for "STUDENT category", has been held by the Japan Mint since 1998, to encourage creativity and enhance the artistry of coin designs.
The design of the above medal was awarded the prize for Most Excellent Work in the International Coin Design Competition 2022. It was designed under the theme of "Good morning, Ukraine"; by Ms. Nataliia Fandikova, who is from Ukraine.
"Good morning, Ukraine" is dedicated to the world and her beloved, kind, beautiful, flourishing country. This medal features the designer's strong determination to war and wish to bring back peaceful daily life even a day faster.
