International Coin Design Competition 2021 Most Excellent Work Gold Medal

The International Coin Design Competition (ICDC), an annual competition, to which 44 works from 9 countries for "GENERAL category", and 502 works from 5 countries for "STUDENT category", has been held by the Japan Mint since 1998, to encourage creativity and enhance the artistry of coin designs.
The design of the above medal was awarded the prize for Most Excellent Work in the International Coin Design Competition 2021. It was designed under the theme of "Humanity in Nature"; by Ms. Frisone Maria Anna, who is from Italy.
Obverse: Allegory of Mother Nature benevolent towards her creatures (three birds), in an embrace surrounded by branches.
Reverse: Group of half-animal, half-human children, observing the scene from outside, but part of the embrace.
