Reverse: The design depicts the Blossom of the Year, Otemari and the words "Sakura-no-toorinuke", "Otemari" are inscribed. While the background features the temari.
The Blossom of the Year, "Otemari"
Otemari (literally "large temari") is so named because its numerous flowers bloom at the tips of its branches in dense clusters that resemble a large (o) temari, a traditional embroidered fabric ball. Each blossom has around 20 medium-sized damask-pink petals.
