Blossom of the Year "KOUKA"
"KOUKA" is a variety of cherries which was developed through seedling process by Mr. Masatoshi Asari from Matsumae Town, Hokkaido.
It is said that it was named after its splendid crimson blossoms clustered together.
Each blossom has 30 to 40 petals.
