  The Mint Museum is located in the premises of Tokyo Branch. Exhibited items are panels and Material to explain coin production process and orders etc., Old coins, Commemorative Coins, Orders. Its quantity is around 1,000 pieces.

  Our Museum exhibits very rare and precious coins, such as ″20 yen gold coin″ which is the last gold coin issued in 1932 (Showa 7) in the time of the gold standard monetary system, Never - issued Coins, Coins of trial production etc.
  In addition, we shows so valuable coins named ″TAKENAGASIKIN″ and ″IKUKIRIKINJO″, which are extremely rare gold coins in historical point of view. You can see them only at our museum.

Tour Days Monday - Friday (Please note that Mint Museum of Tokyo branch closes on national holidays and year-end/new year holidays. In addition to above, it may close without prior notification due to unexpected or unavoidable circumstances.)
Application for Tour Prior reservations are not required.
Entry procedure at east gate is necessary.
