2008 Japan Coin Set
The Japan Coin Set has a good reputation from overseas customers every year because of its Japanese traditional package design.
The theme of the 2008 Japan Coin Set is "Four Seasons in Japan."
It depicts four beautiful scenes from behind half-open shoji, sliding paper screens used in traditional Japanese architecture.
The obverse of the paper package features a Japanese garden in spring, when cherry blossoms are in full bloom. On the reverse is a lonely snow-covered summerhouse in winter.
The obverse of the plastic case features thickly wooded hills and a wooden bridge at midsummer. On the reverse is red maple leaves of autumn in a bamboo grove.

The coin set includes:
- Six Japanese legal tender coins in Brilliant Uncirculated condition (a 500 yen nickel-brass coin, a 100 yen cupronickel coin, a 50 yen cupronickel coin, a 10 yen bronze coin, a 5 yen brass coin and a 1 yen aluminum coin),
- A pure silver medal color-printed with the Japanese national flag (Weight: 4.36g, Size: 17.5mm x 17.5mm),
